FreightSolutions brings transparency to an industry that sorely needs it. The company works with over 220 carriers across 18 markets and processes freight data worth approximately DKK 4.5 billion annually. Their clients range from companies with DKK 300,000 in freight spend to enterprises with DKK 2 billion.
But behind the impressive growth was a problem that kept André Lundberg up at night: the numbers didn't add up.
Revenue was dropping in the systems — while the team knew they were signing more and more subscriptions. There were errors in the data transfer between systems, and no one could figure out where the problem originated.
When you're sitting across from investors presenting numbers that don't add up, doubt creeps in. Not just about the numbers — but about the business. André needed data he could defend in a due diligence process, at board meetings, and in negotiations.
"Our challenge is that when we're talking to investors, the numbers have to add up. And that's where we get uneasy — when we can see our revenue falling, while we know we're signing more and more subscriptions."

FreightSolutions had an auditor, an invoicing system, and a subscription system from three different vendors. For months, all three tried to find the error — without success. The problem was structural: none of them owned the full picture.
"The challenge is that it's not the same company. So you have three systems that are supposed to talk to each other and find the error — and no one takes full responsibility."

André and his team spent years searching for a viable alternative. But they didn't want to go from something that wasn't working to something worse.
FreightSolutions found LedgerBee through their network. And from the very first meeting, the difference was clear: here was one vendor that took responsibility for everything.
LedgerBee handled the heavy lifting during onboarding — setting up customers, charts of accounts, and coordinating with the auditor. André describes the process as "nearly seamless."
But it was the speed that truly won him over. As a startup founder himself, André knows the value of pace:
"Some fixes we need, or some features — we're not talking months, we're talking weeks, in some cases days. We can actually reach LedgerBee on weekends, and we can see them shipping continuously."

The risk of switching? Manageable. "We were leaving something that wasn't working. So the worst case was that we'd end up with something that also didn't work. The risk wasn't that big."
Today, FreightSolutions runs their entire financial operations through LedgerBee. Where they previously juggled 6–7 systems with Excel as the glue, they now have a single, unified overview.
No data transfer errors. No finger-pointing between vendors. And most importantly: numbers André can present to investors with full conviction.
"If you're a founder-led company and you need something simple, and you don't want a full CFO just yet — we haven't got there ourselves — then this is a really strong solution."

And the ambition goes further: "The more we can move into LedgerBee, the better. That's how we see it."
